If you’re like most people across the nation, you were glued into the big game last night (Super Bowl 50.) And at least by now, you’ve probably seen or heard that Broncos linebacker Von Miller was selected the game’s MVP. But just as Miller is the most valuable player to the Denver Broncos, the woman behind RAC Houston Conference Center has also proved to be the MVP for the company with a variety of business awards and being featured in global magazines, such as Fortune Magazine, Bloomberg Businessweek, Elle Décor and Real Simple Magazine.
Led by President Gauri Seth, RAC Houston Conference Center, is now ranked among the 100 fastest-growing companies in Houston, according to The Houston Business Journal. But not only that RAC Houston Conference Center, made 2014’s list of the Fastest-Growing Women-Owned Businesses. Those are just two of its several recent accomplishments for a woman-owned business that’s in a highly-competitive business field.
RAC Houston Conference Center, a 16,000-square-foot conference center located south of the energy corridor, has continued to innovate, by launching a new line of services to appeal to potential clients in Houston’s competitive conference center industry: destination management. Destination management is basically providing the transportation, accommodations, touring and entertainment for clients while they use a conference center’s or hotel’s space. The company has taken it a step further with IT consulting and even food catering for events.
Seth, a recent graduate of the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses program, which she says provided her with better vision for her company, noted that RAC Houston Conference Center, is able to achieve accomplishments due to the fact that her company believes in providing the best solutions possible for customers, such as its state of the art facility. The facility empowers users with everything from video conferencing, T1 or T3 lines, Wi-Fi—and everything else in between. In addition to that, every one of its rooms has hard-wired connections, making it possible for clients to bring in multiple phone lines.
